Lightspeed is a monthly online science fiction magazine started in 2010 and published by Prime Books.
Each edition includes a mix of originals and reprints by a variety of authors covering the whole range of science fiction, from near-future, sociological soft sf, to far-future, star-spanning hard sf, etc. The authors found in Lightspeed include best sellers, award-winners as well as the best new voices yet to hit the big time.
No subject will be considered off-limits, and we encourage our writers to take chances with their fiction and push the envelope.
each EPUB edition (DRM Free) is released at the beginning of each month and will include a variety of podcasts, non-fiction features and Q&As with different authors, along with two pieces of original fiction and two reprints.
